Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, who shared screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, were rumored to have a cold war brewing between them. While the film went on to become a huge box-office success, apparently the actors had issues during the filming of the flick. What added fuel to the fire was Shahid’s recent comment on Koffee with Karan, where he said that he wished for more equality in screen time in Padmaavat. However, when Ranveer stated that everything is good between the actors, it was clear that he held no grudges against the Haider actor.
Recently, a video surfaced on the internet where the two actors who were in the national capital to attend a wedding, were seen hugging each other. As a sign of relief for all the fans, it seems like both the actors are now on good terms. Check out the video below.
Along with Shahid and Ranveer, Padmaavat also starred Deepika Padukone. While the film was surrounded by controversies due to its content, the flick went on to become one of the highest groceries in Bollywood.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is currently basking on the success of his last flick Gully Boy that was directed by Zoya Akhtar. The film, that also starred Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin, went on to gather a lot of appreciation from audience and critics alike.
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor will next appear in Kabir Singh, a remake of the blockbuster south film Arjun Reddy. Kiara Advani, who rose to fame after MS Dhoni: An Untold Story, is playing the female lead in the film.
