During her interviews to Tamil media, Sai Pallavi shared her experience of working with Selvaraghavan for NGK and how she broke down when the shoot of the film was postponed to next day because of her.
Suriya and Selvaraghavan’s upcoming film, NGF is one of the much-awaited films of the month. Starring Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi in the female leads, NGK is made in a lavish budget. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The trailer of the film was released earlier this month and it opened to a massive response by the audience. A a couple of days ago, Suriya launched Twitter emoji of his look from the film. After Vijay’s Mersal and Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’, Suriya’s NGK becomes the third film to get an emoji. NGK brings Sai Pallavi and Suriya together for the first time, and fans are eagerly looking forward to what’s in the store next for them.
Meanwhile, gorgeous actresses Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. During one of the recent interviews to Tamil media, Sai Pallavi shared her experience working with Selvaraghavan and how she broke down into tears when the shoot of the film was postponed to next day because of her. “While shooting for a particular scene, Selvaraghavan wasn’t impressed with my performance. The shoot got postponed to the next day. I went home and told my mother, ‘I will go back to medicine, I am not a good actor.’ I was also crying the entire day. Thankfully, the next day, he okayed my first take,” revealed Sai Pallavi.
The Maari 2 actress also shared how she got calm after knowing Suriya was also subjected to multiple takes. “When I asked Suriya about retakes, he also said that Selvaraghavan wasn’t convinced with his performance in a single take. I was relieved only after knowing that Suriya sir was also subjected to multiple takes,” added Sai Pallavi.
