Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh is a busy bee currently with handfuls of projects in Tamil and Telugu. And seems like the actress likes it that way. According to latest reports, Keerthy Suresh has been approached to play the lead role in Bangararaju which stars Naga Chaitanya and his father Nagarjuna. The film is a sequel to Soggade Chinninayana which was a blockbuster hit. Bangararaju will be directed by Kalyan Krishna and is currently under pre-production. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Keerthy has been approached by the makers of the film and the Mahanati actress has showed her interest in the project. Keerthy will be pairing up with Naga Chaitanya for the second time after Mahanati which has Chay playing his grandfather Akkineni Nageswar Rao. An official confirmation regarding this waited for from the production house.
Keerthy will also make her debut in Bollywood this year with an Ajay Devgn-starrer film which is yet to be titled. The film is based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim who was one of the most prolific football players on 1940s. While Ajay Devgn would be seen on the titular role, Keerthy would be seen playing his love interest.
Keerthy has also signed another film with Nithiin which is titled Rang De. To be directed by Venky Atluri, the film was announced today and will be her first time association with both the actor and director. The film is touted to be a rom-com and will go on shooting floors from August this year.
Besides these two projects, Keerthy has also collaborated with acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Kukunoor and the shooting of the film has already begun. The film is touted to be a comedy entertainer and will be made in Telugu. Kukunoor is back in Telugu after a long gap and will be his comeback film.
