Salman Khan’s Bharat is one of the most awaited films of the year, and after releasing the trailer of the film, fans have been eagerly waiting to watch Salman Khan as Bharat this Eid on the screens. As we all know, Bharat will hit the screens on June 5, 2019, and since we are a cricket loving nation, there is a piece of good news for all the cricket lovers. Yes, during the final IPL match between CSK and MI, Salman and Katrina will be coming together to host a special segment and the actors will also appear in various promos during the live telecast of the final match.
Since India is a cricket loving nation, and therefore, there cannot be a better way to promote the film than through cricket because the entire nation will be watching the final match between CSK and MI on May 12, 2019 and that is when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be promoting their film. As per a report of Bollywood Hungama, this is the reason that the producers of Bharat, Atul Agnihotri and Nikhil Namit have come up with a brilliant promotional idea for Bharat. So, instead of taking the stars in the field to interact with the spectators, the actors will be seen live at a studio, and for the promotions, they are trying a different strategy. In fact, Salman has already shot for the main ad and one more ad featuring kids and Bharat will also be aired.
Producer of Bharat, Nikhil Namit spoke about the same as he said that “Salman and Katrina are going to host the show live and it will be an unusual strategy implemented by team Bharat. It’s their strategy of having the Bharat trailer attached with Avengers: Endgame, which was the biggest Hollywood film. It worked and now the next step is television and what can be bigger than the IPL?” Talking about Bharat, the film is an official adaptation of a South Korean film titled as An Ode To My Father (2014). Bharat chronicles the journey of a man from the age of 18 to 70 and the film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Tabu and Jackie Shroff.
